Stayed at Tomariya Ueno and loved how modern the capsules were! Super comfy mattress and the staff were really helpful. Just wish they had personal luggage lockers because I was a bit uneasy about leaving my stuff out.

I loved the secure lock system for the capsules, giving me peace of mind. Being just a 5-minute walk from Ueno Station made catching trains super easy. I appreciated the quietness of the area, making it a great escape from the city buzz. However, there were a few downsides. The lack of personal luggage lockers made me uneasy about leaving my belongings out in the open. The bathroom facilities were clean, but I found some of the showers a bit cramped. Although I enjoyed the privacy of the capsule, the rooms can feel tight, especially if you're claustrophobic. Also, the absence of a kitchen area limited meal prep options. The common area felt a bit small and could use more seating for relaxing or socializing.

The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the proximity to local eateries made exploring a breeze. The cleaning standard was impressive, ensuring a fresh environment every day.

Some extra hooks for bags would be handy.

Additionally, the bed was cozy, which allowed for restful sleep after long workdays.

Capsule rooms are small, which may not suit everyone.

i had a great time at tomariya ueno during my recent trip. the location was perfect, super close to ueno station, making it easy to get around the city. the dorm was clean, and the beds were really comfortable.

Just a well-suited match for a rapid stop in Tokyo with good value for cost. The air conditioning worked great, keeping the room pleasantly cool. If you need extra amenities, make sure to bring your own snacks.

The location is amazing! Close to trains and convenience stores. The room had air conditioning, a feather pillow, and free toiletries. Shared bathroom was clean, and I appreciated the electric kettle. The common area was warm, and the staff were super helpful. Loved the comfy bed and the shower was great too!
